Zeferino Arroyo Agro High School 2009 Commencement Exercises
ZEFERINO ARROYO AGRO HIGH SCHOOL
2009 Commencement Exercises
Guest Speaker : Mr. Jay Magistrado Dimaiwat
Dear 2009 Graduates, I extend to you my warmest congratulations! Your persistence and dedication have borne fruit after four long years of studies. Give yourselves a pat in the back. You deserve it after hurdling the challenges of your academic requirements. Thank your instructors and school administrators for the long hours of work they logged in preparing their lesson plans thus enriching your set of knowledge and skills. Most importantly, your wholehearted gratitude should go to your parents and families. Despite the day-to-day challenges of economic survival, they toiled hard to support your education. Remember to thank all them from the bottom of your hearts when you go up that stage to receive your diplomas. You would not have achieved this far without the support of your teachers, your friends, and your parents and families.
Each one of you are fortunate. You now belong to the less than 20% of Filipinos who are lucky enough to finish with a college degree. But is getting that diploma the peak of your life story? No. It is both the end and the beginning. Your academic education is done but your life out there in the real world has just started. Education is only a tool in shaping your future. It will be your passport to your dreams and aspirations. But how you use this tool to maximize your opportunities in life will determine the difference between success and failure. Certainly, as you apply for jobs, as you go into business, as you practice your professions, you shall encounter many challenges. My advise? Do not be dissuaded. Do not be discouraged. Do not lose focus! Be optimistic! Be determined to get your goals in life!
I only have one request. When you are already successful in life as I’m sure many of you will be, give something back to our community. Use your talents and capabilities to contribute positively in improving the socio-economic well-being of the people of Rinconada. Take an active part in building a better community, a progressive municipality/city, a progressive Rinconada.
I wish you the best as you journey to the successful future that awaits each and everyone of you! Congratulations and Mabuhay Po Kamo!
Dear Parents, there is no greater legacy that you can give your children than providing them a good quality education. With this gift, your children are better equipped to face the uncertainties of tomorrow. Continue to guide your children. Advise them well. Like you, they will be parents someday. And I’m certain that with the love and care you have nurtured them, you will be their role models in raising their future families. Congratulations dear parents!
Dear School Administrators and Faculty Staff, your dedication and commitment to your profession deserve the highest commendation. You are an indispensable sector of our society. How we molded the minds of our students, how we trained them, how we honed their capabilities, will have an impact on the future of this country. From the ranks of our students will come the future leaders of our communities. I salute you for an excellent job done!
Mabuhay po kamo ngamin! Mabuhay Rinconada!
