
Last November 12, 2008, Cindy’s, a chain of restaurants and bakeshops in Central and North Luzon regions with head office in Tarlac City, sealed a continued partnership with Nestle Professional, the Out-of-Home business unit of Nestle Philippines, with a contract-signing at Nestle Professional Vending Room in Nestle Center Rockwell, Makati.
Nestle Professional was represented at the ceremony by NP Regional Sales Manager for Central Luzon Malou Marquez, NP HORECA Channel Business Head Jay Dimaiwat, and NP Business Unit Head Zander Taningco. Signing on behalf of Cindy’s were Mr. Bernie Chua, Cindy’s Marketing Manager, Mr. Jon Chua who heads production and Mr. Harry Uy, Cindy’s Marketing Director .
The Nestle Professional-Cindy’s business partnership was a result of the joint efforts exerted by the NP Central Luzon team, the NP Horeca Channel Business Group, and the Cental Luzon Grocery team headed by Ms. Issa Vistan.
As Cindy’s brand-of-choice for its iced tea beverage, NESTEA further cements its dominance as the leading iced tea brand in the Out-of-Home market preferred by the leading food chain and restaurants in the industry. Some highlights of the partnership are Brand and Channel promotions supported by point of consumption materials, menu placements, delivery program with NESTEA tumblers and value meal promotions. Other activities that both parties will be involved in are beverage and cooking demos, new branch/concept opening, and roll-out of the new NP EZ care machines in the Restaurant channel. These new beverage dispensers offer more advanced features both for the operator and the consumer in ensuring cup quality and safety.
